Environmental impact
The provision of our courier services has an impact on the environment and we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and offering solutions to help you reduce yours.
We have implemented a comprehensive environmental programme in order to minimise that impact, which includes:
Expanding our green fleet 
- growing our electric, alternative fuel and push bike fleets (the biggest in the world) and trialling new environmentally friendly vehicles on the market
Environmental reporting
- analysis which can help you find ways to reduce the amount of carbon produced by your courier choices
Carbon Offset Programme
- gives you the choice to have a retrospective surcharge applied to those carbon emitting jobs, which is then reinvested in fully auditable carbon offset projects
Being smarter with our energy 
- helping couriers to drive more efficiently with “smarter driving“ training in partnership with Motorvate (Energy Trust);
- reducing the number of journeys and dead mileage by improving efficiency through better scheduling and our technology
- switching 100% of our energy used by our service centres to zero carbon energy (green gas and electricity)
Being smarter with our other resources
- electronic invoicing for all clients, as well as a comprehensive recycling programme across all service centres
